| rekkanoryo * | This has to be one of my favorite chapters in your series so far. The action scenes never fails to amaze me, and the relationships amongst all the characters are constantly enforced. I like the reunion of the Brotherhood and I enjoyed the little exchange between Wanda and Pietro. The scene where Rogue learned about her upgraded powers was really profound, probably one of the strongest scenes I've read, it almost made me cry! Of course I can't go without mentioning Scott and Jean. I applaud you, sir, for writing them together in a way that's honest and believable. It's taken a long time for them to get together and it hasn't been without its trials and errors. Your version of Scott/Jean is surely enjoyable. It reminds me of the X-Men: Evolution version of this couple, where it's young love in the works. Your version of Scott is someone I actually LIKE, which is strange because I really can't stand him in the canon material and never really liked him. That's why I usually preferred Jean to be with Logan or *anyone* who wasn't Cyclops--but in your stories, I very much like them as a couple so far! Sorry for rambling like this but I'll just conclude how well of a job you've done with finishing this story arc. Definitely will keep an eye out for the next chapter! |
| anonymous * | Wow, this issue is rather big and oh so meaningful in the story of x-men supreme! Sorry for not commenting this issue earlier. It's done just perfectly! You couldn't make it better! But now I'm going to see plenty of wonderful moments in these series to make up for long waiting!The episode with Sinister is only a beginning of numerous pains they'll have to endure but they're a part of story, I guess. I still feel sorry for Rogue who got an enormous strength but lost precious for her ability to touch. It was so sad to read it and it even brought tears in my eyes. I liked this part as some sort of rendering of the original version, which I love immensely.
Again, I repeat that you couldn't make the ending more beautiful. Not matter how many times I read such scenes I feel absurdly happy! At least in your own world I can find something that was cruely destroyed but still cherished in hearts of few dedicated fans. Thank you so much! |
