Finally, after me secretly screaming it in my mind whenever I read a comic or watched an episode where the "inhibitor collars" are being used, somebody has finally written it into an x-man to actually snatch a few of them for future use. I've been wanting this to happen for ages, and it seemed like it should have happened many times already. Very original thinking!! Great ending to this 3 parter. Very interested in Magnetos masterplan. |

| rekkanoryo * | The "Revenge of Weapon X" three-parter was a breath of fresh air for me. Compared to the other dozens of versions you see of this in Marvel, this one is well thought out with enough history to pull you in without giving anything away at the same time. I can tell enough time and detail was put into the Weapon X deal and I must say "bravo."
Jean and Rogue's relationship isn't going so well, is it? I don't blame Rogue for acting the way she does because she never got close to anyone, in fear of accidentally hurting them. Then Jean, while I love her to death, really needs to wake up and realize she can't fool anyone over her still lingering "what if?" feelings toward Scott.
The battle scenes were well written and it gave everyone a chance to shine. One of the most memorable scenes for me was when Jean went back to find Logan after their escape from the facility, against the wishes of her mentor. It reminded me of AoA, when Jean was kidnapped and Logan defied Magneto's orders and went back for her - alone. He lost a hand in the process but it showed how much he cared for her.
Yeah there's more I want to say about this, but since I'm at work I'm limited to how long I can stay on here, LOL. But I'm having a blast with X-Men Supreme. Please keep up the good work and if anybody at Marvel is reading this, put this guy onto your team! |
